Walk The Sky

This is one of my favorite albums of the 1970s. Wire immediately left the crunch of Pink Flag behind on Chairs Missing, 1978's great leap into even artier weirdness and Brian Eno-inspired ambient experiments. Producer Mike Thorne's synthesizers took a more key role, propelling songs into haunting soundscapes and downpours of noise. The funny thing is that, though a fairly major departure for the band, the album cloaks its curveball up front, beginning as Pink Flag did: With bassist Graham Lewis's nakedly produced pulse being attacked by guitars. "Practise Makes Perfect" seems almost cheekily named for the way it builds directly on the constant crescendo structure of "Reuters", except this time Newman's ragged vocal is met with interjections of derisive laughter and the final comedown leads into a bed of gently viscous synth.

Hans Zimmer explodes into adventure with his highly entertaining and very unique score to Sherlock Holmes. When I first read that Hans would be doing a Guy Ritchie film I became a little curious. Ritchie is known for using mostly songs and little to no score in his films. Before I tackle this baby, I'd ask visitors of this site to ignore the fanboyish review written below - it's just a bit ridiculous and by no means objective. Now, when it comes to my favorite composer Hans Zimmer, I'm not usually much better - see my review for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - but I at least try to bring in a bit of objectivity.

It is the final installment in The Blueprint trilogy, preceded by The Blueprint (2001) and The Blueprint2: The Gift & The Curse (2002). Production for the album took place during 2008 to 2009 at several recording studios and was handled by Kanye West, The Neptunes, Jeff Bhasker, Al Shux, Jermone Harmon, No I.D., The Inkredibles, Swizz Beatz, and Timbaland. I'm not big fan of Jay-Z but I like the songs in this album. I recommend it :)

Starting well before Music for Airports, ambient music liked to get fresh with place. Erik Satie aspired to "furniture music," Eno tried to allay fears of fiery airplane death with loops of living-room piano, and those who followed have tried to capture a similar sense of the domestic and particular. Scott Morgan is one of those guys. Unlike Tim Hecker or Pantha du Prince, who draw from more intricate arrangements, Morgan lays his sounds bare and lets them go right to work. Recording as Loscil since the early 2000s, he's built an impressive catalogue of pensive, minimal records that turn computerized sounds into something strangely soothing-- the kind of music you want to listen to flat on your back, eyes fixed at the ceiling. While each of his records is at least good, it started to feel by 2006's Plume like Morgan had reached a creative plateau. The album’s success doesn’t hinge on this moment — the track, featuring spoken word from Destroyer’s Dan Bejar, simply stands apart. What’s unique about it, beyond the presence of words, and what distinguishes it from the rest of loscil’s music and even the contemporary ambient pack altogether is the way it dramatizes the ambivalence of making and listening to ambient. In music that foregrounds process so intensely, theory intervenes not only for the composer, but for the listener; pleasure emerges from these mediations. Bejar’s words make up a vivid, short-circuiting text that captures the potential and the bathos of minor music: in Bejar’s words, it’s "the trick of making something confounding and great and potentially horrible drawn up from air."

Rockferry is the debut studio album by Welsh singer Duffy released on 3 March 2008. The album was the fourth best selling album of 2008 worldwide. She has a very specific voice which can immediately impress you. Besides his voice Duffy is a very beautiful woman and this is seen. In this album my favorite song is Stepping Stone, I just can`t comment this song...it is amazing. I think any good songs rarely hear. Everything I like the music, the text and of course the singer. Other strong songs are Mercy,Warwick Avenue.

Back to Me is the third studio album by American singer Fantasia Barrino. The album is her first studio album in four years since 2006's Fantasia. Maybe that time has helped this album to be so good. "Bittersweet" is the album's first official single, I like it a lot and the view of many people is the same. Other important songs in the album "Even Angels" and "I'm Doin 'Me". I think Fantasia's album should be heard.

Animal is the debut studio album by American pop singer Kesha. The album was released January 1, 2010, by RCA Records. Kesha worked with a variety of producers and writers such as Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, David Gamson, Greg Kurstin, Max Martin and others. Musically, Animal draws from the dance-pop genre, while also incorporating elements of electro and electropop in its production and beats. Four singles have been released from the album. The album's lead single, "Tik Tok", was released August 7, 2009. The single was a worldwide hit reaching number one in eleven countries. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed at the top for nine consecutive weeks. This woman might not have a bad song or bad album. However I think this is one of the most valuable Album. Long time has passed from its issuance, but has songs that are remembered and listened and did not lose their strength. For starters visible emblematic title of the project. Music is a total hit of all time, not only sound, video ... as a single unit. Continuing with songs like Amazing; American Pie; Don `t tell me. I do not think that there is a way to be forgotten these songs, they are very loved.
